LedgerReady

LedgerReady vs the alternatives

If you only need PDF statements turned into rows, a converter tool or your accounting software's bank feed is cheaper than LedgerReady; if you need judgement, tax advice or ongoing bookkeeping, hire a bookkeeper or accountant. LedgerReady fits the middle: a one-off categorised clean-up with reconciliation, from $20.

Who should pick what

  • Pick a converter if you just need rows out of PDFs and are happy to categorise yourself.
  • Pick a human bookkeeper if your books need judgement calls you cannot answer, or you want someone ongoing.
  • Pick an accountant for anything about taxes or deductions.
  • Pick LedgerReady if you are months behind, have statements and receipts in a pile, and want a categorised, reconciled set of files to hand to your accountant or import yourself.

Moving from LedgerReady to your accounting software

  1. Import our CSV for each account into QuickBooks Online, Xero or Wave (one file per bank or card account).
  2. Use our ledger as the reference for categories (Xero's precoded import can carry them directly).
  3. Turn on your bank feed from the day after our last statement so nothing is imported twice.
